David Haueter

David Haueter has been a freelance writer and photographer for over twenty years, and is on the staff of the BMW Car Club of America’s Roundel magazine, as well as Bimmer magazine. In the “Paddock Pass” racing column he writes for Bimmer, Haueter covers BMW efforts in all sports car and endurance racing, from Continental Challenge to ALMS and everything in between.

Haueter’s writing and photos have also been published in Forza, Excellence, BMW Magazine, Grassroots Motorsports and Racer, as well as on various racing, team and driver websites. During his years as an automotive journalist, he has also completed high-performance driving programs at the Skip Barber Racing School and the BMW Performance Center, including the Advanced M School.

In addition to writing and photographing cars, Haueter works for market research firm InfoTrends, covering the digital photography market.
