New components allow visitors to pose questions directly to some of the world’s most respected photographers and also provide an opportunity for submitted photographs to be critiqued by members of the ‘Icons’ program. Consisting of three new elements – 20 Questions, Ask the Icon and Critique My Image – visitors can gain personal insight in an interactive forum where questions can be asked and images can be shared with the Icons. The microsite will continue to showcase the latest work produced by each photographer, along with a listing of upcoming projects, lectures and workshops from each. 20 Questions is an up-close-and-personal interview conducted with each photographer that details many aspects of their career including how they got started, whose work they admire most and what they would be doing if they weren’t a photographer. Beginning in May, Ask the Icons will provide an interactive way to become part of the Kingston Icon experience, whereby visitors submit questions directly to an Icon. Critique My Photo gives visitors an opportunity to submit photographs and have them reviewed by the Icons.
